MORE THAN AN ORPHANAGE
The C. O. H. center aims to be a center for meetings, learning, distribution and Christian worship.
This project, which God has put us at heart to carry out, will notably be able to welcome children from the age of 3, who are left behind and tossed from right to left for lack of family support which has abandoned them.
But this center will also have for vocation to bring together the local population for cults and Christian formations under a pastoral direction.
It will also be equipped with two Web / Radio studios for the broadcasting of Christian messages under the effigy of:
“Abraham Productions”.
It will be a collection point for weekly food aid as well as for daily bread donations.
THE DETAILS
On the ground floor of the C.O. H. a veranda of about 60 M2.
A common room for worship, reception of about 210 M2.
An office for the administrative service of approximately 40 M2.
Amenities for women and men.
A prefessional kitchen of approximately 40 M2.
Technical and storage rooms of around 50 M2.
The first floor of the C.O. H. includes the caretaker's service accommodation of approximately 50 m2.
Two dormitories, girls and boys, with a capacity of 18 places, each making about 50 m2.
Two shower and WC areas adjoining the dormitories each with a surface area of 18 M2.
Two classrooms making, per room, approximately 50 M2.
A central play area is reserved for about 100 m2.
In its enclosure, the C. O. H. will have a Web-TV and Radio studio under the banner of Abraham Productions.
These studion are composed of a reception of approximately 80 M 2.
Two studios and control rooms each making about 100 M2.
Convenience for women and men.
A kitchen and relaxation area of about 30 M2.
On the front, an outdoor parking lot will be able to accommodate approximately
4 vehicles.
In the annex, a small house will accommodate guests, speakers or volunteers.
House equipped with two bedrooms of each 25 M2.
A walk-in shower and a toilet and sink area with a surface area of approximately 15 M2.
From a library corridor of about 30 M2.
From a living room with office of approximately 42 M2.
A kitchen equipped with approximately 25 M2.
OPERATING COSTS
The operating costs of the C.O.H. are defined according to the following needs:
Child care staff.
Day staff for children.
The staff for the kitchen.
Maintenance staff.
Staff for security.
Electricity costs.
Water costs.
Gasoline costs.
Food costs.
Insurance costs.
Maintenance costs.
The child care staff consists of two teams working and living every other week in the orphanage studio.
Day staff for children is defined according to the number of children accommodated in the orphanage (one person per 5 children).
The kitchen staff mainly take care of the midday meal as well as that of the evening, they also take care of meals during events, seminars or others.
Morning meals are the responsibility of the on-call team in collaboration with the day staff upon arrival.
The maintenance staff act as janitor, gardener and handyman who can take care of the various small jobs related to the buildings.
The security staff consists of professional agents taking care of the reception at the gate, the physical and video surveillance of the premises as well as the intervention
in the event of an intrusion.
Coordination with law enforcement, firefighters and various rescuers is also ensured by this service.
OPERATING COSTS IN FIGURES
The running costs for the departure amount annually to approximately Chf. 50,000.-
These costs include the payroll:
24/7 childcare staff.
Day care staff for the children.
Kitchen and maintenance staff.
24/7 site security personnel.
In addition, various costs such as water, gas, electricity, insurance, food, etc.

The "medium" version of the C. O. H. will include on the ground floor
A veranda of approximately 60 M2.

The "small" version of the C. O. H.
This version takes exactly the same provisions as the average version but this time without Web-TV and Radio studios, without guest house and without security room and reception of goods.
